Our client is seeking a proactive IT Support Analyst to help maintain and support a range of internal systems within a primarily Windows-based environment. This role involves providing technical support to users, maintaining infrastructure, and ensuring systems remain secure, stable, and efficient.
Working as part of the IT team, you will support core technologies including Active Directory, virtual desktops, and Microsoft applications, while helping to automate processes and improve system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain internal systems across Windows environments (with some Linux exposure)
- Administer on-premise and Azure Active Directory, managing user access and permissions
- Support Microsoft Exchange, Citrix remote PC environments, and VMware Horizon virtual desktops
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot applications using SCCM and related tools
- Manage mobile devices (corporate and BYOD) and support Microsoft Office and Outlook users
- Troubleshoot workstation, server, and connectivity issues
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Jenkins
- Support new employee onboarding, including system setup and access configuration
- Manage security authentication tools such as FIDO tokens
- Log and manage support tickets through Jira while providing high-quality user support
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server environments
- Experience with PowerShell and configuration management practices
- Familiarity with Cisco technologies (Webex, Meraki)
- Experience in an IT support or service desk role
- Strong troubleshooting, organisation, and communication skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for technology and problem solving
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment
